What is your question?
So I pretty much know what the problem is: HVAC has a vacuum leak somewhere as the entire HVAC system only blows through the defrost. So far after multiple attempts I can't seem to locate where it might be occurring at. After poking around inside the dash (I admit I don't tear the whole thing apart) I'm not able to really find all of the HVAC lines to check them. So my question is: does anyone have a good idea where the HVAC hoses go and/or how easy is it to tear the dash apart without breaking it (my Lumina was real easy, snap together like legos. This though seems a little more fragile). Or, ballpark figure of how much it would cost to have a mechanic do it? Thanks!

The vacuum motor that controls air flow as you describe is located kind of behind the "center stack". To check it all out, access the lower trim panel on the left side of the dash, and the left side of the center stack area behind the dash. The vacuum motor is located behind a lighting control module, as well as other components. Look for vacuum hoses in that area too -- loose, damage, disconnected. Good luck!
The 4 O-rings need to be replaced in the temperature control unit. A very common problem with 2000-2009 grand marquis and crown vics. I already repaired 3 of these cars.
