The first three digits are the day of the year and the fourth digit is the year. 2. If not between the build dates above, check the Transmission Range Sensor (TRS) using a scan tool. 3. Monitor the Low/Reverse (LR) pressure switch. It should never go closed when the transmission is in 2nd, 3rd or 4th gears. If it does, the solenoid switching valve may be sticking in the valve body.
