(2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser)

Where is the Hazard warning lighting control module located on the car. I am told that is what I need to replace (part #LM470) but the manual does not show it.

The flasher unit mounts to the back side of the combination switch on the steering column itself. Remove the steering wheel cowling to see it for intructions Autozone have some popular workshop manuals for free on line once you register (for free) on their website .There is a company that independent auto repair shops "buy" their information from that offer a very reasonable service to do it yourselvers. You get a one year subscription to year make and model specific repair procedures, service bulletins, component locations, wiring diagrams ect.... great quality information same as the professionals have ,much better than generic workshop manuals from parts stores, much cheaper than the factory manual. or try and get an online repair manual subscription.

Thank you!!! I did remove the steering column cover and there it was-- great place for Chrysler to hide a part that easy to replace just so they can force most people to go to a dealer and shell out the cash...Thanks again for your response.
