How much wld it cost me to change the front seal on a 07 suzuki xl7.

I Had my oil changed today and asked the guy to check for a leak because i wld smell oil burning when i was waiting at a light or stop briefly, and our eyes would constantly burn. He said it was leaking from the front seal.... Wld it be best to do both front and rear??

What makes this problem better or worse?

Not so bad when engine is cold
