the heater in my 96 pick up gets warm but not hot. i have replaced the thermostat and it didnt help. the heat hand never moves but it dosent run hot. please help. its cold here.

flush heater core take hose off motor get a copilen to put on garden hose flush one hose at a time till water runs clear
possible heater control valve stuck or broken, check the cable to it make sure you are getting full travel, physically pull the valve from the hose and inspect the valve (I have seen the valves rust and deteriorate internally) also there might be a problem with the ducting, does it have ac? is the air flow changing ok from defrost to floor ect? check the hoses while its running, they both should be hot when in the heat position if not the control valve is faulty, sounds like ya need a new heater core, and I know there no fun to change, specially with ac, most cases entire dash removal is required.
i did this and it didnt help. the heat hand barely moves to cold. any other advice? thanks.
