my passenger side headlight recently went out, I replaced it with a new bulb but it still would not work. I also checked my fuse which was working and it still would not work. What else might be wrong?

It could be a connector problem in the wiring to the headlight. Could also be the connector on the headlight itself. You'll have to check the connectors and connections, wiggling wiring and connectors can isolate the problem. Swap some fuses around if there's any doubt about the fuse.
i got the same problem. The problem is between the fuses and the lamp itself. t may be in a relay somewhere but i dont know exactly where it is. im trying to find it now
Jbuck is mostly right. I had the same issue and it was the headlight switch on the column. It can be disassembled and cleaned. It's a bit tricky but worked for me for several years now.
If you are still having problems, I had the same problem with my 1990. Both low beams worked but only one high beam. It is most likely the connection in the turn signal switch. you will have to undo the steering wheel casing and take the switch out. then take it apart carefully and clean the contacts with sand paper of finger file. then put together and snap back in.
how do you disassemble the swich without breaking it
