Hard start cold

(1990 Nissan Pulsar NX)
have hard start problem when cold in morning. once it catches,it runs fine.when warm no problem starting.it is a 1989 nx se 1.8de motor

Start with the basics, inspect the condition of your spark plugs, plug wires, cap and rotor ( if equipped ), air filter etc. You need to have good tune up parts to start a cold car. If there is ever a check engine light on, then you NEED to get the code and fix that, like if there was a worn out coolant temp sensor, it could cause hard starting.
