Gas smell in car interior

(1991 Chrysler Town & Country)
in Washington, DC on June 08, 2010
We smell gas on the front driver's side of the car when we turn on the ignition. What is the cause? I have read about problems with the fuel injector.

I had the same problem with my car and it was the fuel rail. I would take it to the dealer and have it looked at immediately.

That was the problem. We had it replaced and had everything cleaned. We felt like the dealer took us to the cleaners, too.
