Problem Description and Possible Solution

Some of the fuel/temperature gauges fail and read maximum at all times. Our technicians tell us that there is a gauge cluster replacement that includes the little voltage regulator as well.

Fuel & Temp Gauge both slide to MAX when ignition turned on. Problem began simultaneously on both gauges. Fuel will drop of max as tank nears empty.
Temperature gauge shoots all the way up after ignition.

Old timer mechanic can't fix it too.
Inherited a 92 corolla that fuel gauge reads high until very close to empty and the temp reads high but the car is not overheating because it slowly climbs directly after cranking. Same problem as several other people have submitted.
I read on youtube that it is possible there is a loose ground wire off the sender for the temperature gauge, i haven't looked for it yet. The fuel gauge in my corolla is still functioning.
