The car stalls out after driving and screen says fuel pump malfunction but when hooked up to a diagnostic computer nothing comes up
So does that mean it has to be done at the dealership?
Not necessarily a dealership -- Check around you for other local repair shops that specialize in BMW also. I would imagine you would find some options. Dealership is definitely an option of course.
