What is an oil pressure sensor?
The oil pressure sensor is monitors the pressurization of the oil as it travels through the engine, and reports that pressure to the engine's computer.
How does the oil pressure sensor work?
Without the proper pressure, oil can't reach all parts of the engine or move as rapidly as it should, thus wearing it out faster.
