truck sat for 2 days, now won't start. Have been running truck for last 2 yrs and happened once before about year ago, replaced plugs and wires and was fine till now. Tried spraying starting fluid directly into intake and not firing up. Checked for spark at cap and ok. Even removed cap and rotor and they are dry with no signs of moisture. Fuel pump seems to be ok cause I smell fuel after trying to start. Not making any signs of starting after turning, just spins and spins till battery quits.

please don't waste any more of your hard-earned money trying to fix your truck by throwing parts at it. ask around for a good honest GM shop that others trust. let him find out what is REALLY wrong.
