engine stalling

1997 Ford Crown Victoria engine stops when turning with foot off the gas pedal at about 15 mph. It has happend turning both left and right. There is no problem restarting the engine. Mechanics cleaned a filter and replaced it. This did not fix the problem. They then adjusted the idle. This happens about once a week.
