What is your question?
I have a 2017 VW Golf all-trac with 55,000 miles and brought it into a VW dealer to change the oil. They said that I have a bad seal in the engine and transmission and that it would cost $1,500 for the part and $3,500 for the labor. This comes as a shock to me since I rarely drive the car because I want to keep the low miles on it. The dealer said that because its not run enough so therrefore the seal dries up and goes bad and not being lubricated? Now how is that so, when the seal is internal whereas, I can understand if its external to the motor and transmission to be affected by the enviornment but not when its an internal part. I feel like I'm being scammed here.
