Terrible oil leak that just developed over night at rear of engine looks like oil pan but I find this hard to believe
Had the oil pan gasket leak repaired only to find out there is a leak at the rear main oil seal.
Leak at rear of engine covering rear of oil pan an transmission including cross brace and transmission rear support. Differential input shat seal also leaking.
Oil pan gasket as well as front seal. Bought it like this, not a bad leak. Previous owner tried to caulk around it....?????
I have a 2006 F-150 king ranch that developed a oil pan leak after 58,000 miles, so the ford dealer says and $397.00 for repair a day later after the repair it leaked again so I took the truck back to the dealer this tome the diagnosis was the rear main seal leak that's costing over $900. 00 I called the Ford Quality complaint hot line to report the problem and to see if there are any recalls for the problem this is a must do to get a recall started a certain amount of complaints must be reported to this hot line number before it gets on the recall list. oil pan gasket pushing out of place replaced gasket and pan with new one piece reinforced gasket from fel pro
Started leaking from front of oil pan, trying to diagnose by using a family mechanic. (1996 Ford F-150 XLT)
Oil pan leaking and driver side of motor is leaking as well. Right in front of the distributor there is a plate that has a gasket. Not fixed yet I'm working on it.
I switched my valve cover gaskets to stop my oil leak, but it only partially worked. I still had another leak, one that went right onto my o2 sensor and starter. I assumed it was my oil pan gasket, but I didn't have the resources to pay a shop to switch the gasket or do it myself. So I ordered blue devil oIL stop leak and sealer and so far it hasn't leaked since.
oil pan gasket broken and pushed out. Causing a pcv leak check engine light. As well as oil.
