engine making knocking sound, what is wrong? Engine light came on.

I seen a truck like this before with low oil it seems as this is a common problem, check the oil level if it has no oil it will make a knocking sound, don't drive without checking the oil level, if the Engine Light is on i suggest you get a scantool and diagnose the problem Autozone does this for free
