Engine coolant light on

If the coolant light is on, it typically means the vehicle is sensing that the coolant level is low in the reservoir. Check and top off your coolant level as needed. If it was low, you may want to have the system checked for leaks, as coolant is not a consumable item and should never go low. If the coolant level is good, and the light is on, testing the system for faults for the warning light coming on is needed.
