My drivers side door will NOT open. I was in the car when this happened and had to get out on the passenger side. The door knob comes up when I pull the latch but it doesn't open. I got out and locked it and unlocked it with my key and it still wont open. Any ideas on how to get the door open?

Sounds like the door lock has failed on the drivers side, Only way to get this open without damage is to stop by your local body shop and have them give you a estimate to repair the lock/latch assembly and order the parts for you and repair this professionally
