Infiniti I35 Problems

Check Engine Light and Engine Stalling on Infiniti I35

Problem Description and Possible Solution

The crankshaft angle sensor or the camshaft position sensor can fail and cause loss of engine power, an engine that cuts out, and other drivability problems. This will cause the Check Engine Light to illuminate. Certain models have been involved in a recall to replace the camshaft and crankshaft sensors. My 2003 I35 is suddenly losing power and has reduced power. The car can die or surge. Several lights on the dash come on including TCS, SLIP & Service Engine Soon. I called the Infiniti dealer about the recall for Engine and Engine Cooling because the car has the same symptoms but I was told my car is NOT covered under the recall based on the VIN. From what I'm reading, this issue is more widespread than the dealer admits.
The engine stopped and it was hard to re-start the engine again.
The following bulbs turn on:
Service Engine Soon

UPDATE: Took the car to the mec shop and they replaced the crankshaft angle sensor for $40 USD. Problem solved. NOTE to other users on this post: don't need to replace the engine at all, it's a sensor problem (the original sensor was designed poorly, the new design avoids this issue), and it's well documented at Nissan's own problem list.
Was driving luckly on a on a street not highway when my engin apparently cut of I was in the middle of a turn and was able to pull over. Engin light came on it took about 15 seconds then the car started again., I drove to a gas station when the engined failed again but was able to start back up. I brought it to my dealer did say anything about any recalls.
loss of power and dies and no start only when jumpstarted but no service engine light only tcs off slip and abs lights on
Car starts up fine.I drive for at least 10 to 15 Minutes and you can feel the power leaving the car.Its either dies or I turn off the ignition and the car stalls and I try to start it back up and it just keeps turning over.Ten to 20 Minutes later starts up just fine.I just got it home and parked
car stalls and conks out. mechanic said camshaft sprocket needs to be replaced along with the rest of the engine!
Car stalls after 10 to 15 minutes run time the problem is both camshaft sensors and crankshaft sensor once you have replaced all 3 at the same time car will run better than new.
car keeps stalling after i come to a stop and when i press on gas it wont go , so i put in park then put the gear in drive again then it will start sometimes
My power in the car shutdown completely, in traffic. There's no warning alerts to show what's wrong. Then I try to turn the engine on nothing, no power. This is dangerous! I am afraid to drive due to this problem
Drove perfect for about 10 min.then slowed down to a crawl.stepping on gas pedal did nothing.was able to crawl to safe spot. Then it finally died. With mil and other light s on.
Failure after adding engine restore...mechanic said camshaft sprocket not working correctly, recommending new engine.
Hi My Car was just exiting the high way when stop running and I could not start although the engine was cranking.
Few hours later when the car was cold I started with no problem and run like nothing never happen.
Next Day happen the same thing
