Jim, Cruise control systems used to be separate systems that were fairly easy to address for the average mechanic/person, but now they are integrated into the power train control module and the electronic throttle system, so it takes a technician with the proper tools and experience to start addressing this type of problem. You should take this to a good independent or the dealer to have this addressed.
