had the codes pulled and it said to replace egr,IDC.Lasted two weeks and the light came back.It now comes on when it's idling.It is reving high.

None of the previous codes said to replace parts. It will tell you what areas are having probs and to do the step by step diagnostics before replacing any parts. It is also well known that after parts replacement that there still may be other probs that were hidden by a defective part or probs in the circuit. Recheck the codes and do the correct step by step diag.
just had my codes redone and now they are telling me it's the IAC,which was already replaced by them.They also said that the part could be defective.He also said for me go to the dealer to make sure it is the right part
As I said, It points to a problem with the IAC circuit. It is not saying the IAC is bad. He is right about part may be bad. When he is sending you to the dealer it is because he or she does not want to go thru the diag steps. Sounds like maybe wrong shop to begin with. j
