p0307 enging misfire cyclinder 7 happened all of a sudden when i started to accelerate to merge with high traffic no. early warning sign or anything just boom and now it runs like crap and the check engine light blinks on and off.
This truck came with the "poppet style" injectors. When I experienced that "miss", I bought a new injector unit only to discover that the poppet style hade already been replaced before I bought the vehicle at 171000 miles. The "new" injectors were perhaps just dirty and did not respond to any cleaning efforts. Once replaced, it ran WAY better, had more power and got a little better fuel economy. It was an AC Delco unit but shorted out an injector so I replaced that with a Delphi unit.
