Hi, my name is Devin. I am an auto repair expert with the Car Genius team here at RepairPal. I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your Ram 1500. The check engine light and traction control light coming on together, along with the jerking feeling, could point to many different things. The jerking could be caused by a misfire, a failing sensor, or a transmission issue. Since the lights came on and went off, it might be an intermittent problem, but having the codes read will give you a better idea of what's causing it. Addressing this soon can prevent further damage.
