If the light is on and there are no trouble codes, check the wiring and the engine control module. Make sure you are using a scan tool capable of reading the codes on this car and check all the modules, you may have a code in a different system that is turning on the check engine light.

Thanks for your help. The trouble was with the sending unit that is mounted on top of the fender wall under the hood.

Thanks for your help. The trouble was with the sending unit that is mounted on top of the fender wall under the hood.
