Cadillac Fleetwood Problems

Car Won't Start and Security Light is On on Cadillac Fleetwood

Problem Description and Possible Solution

Problems with anti-theft systems using the raised-chip key can prevent the car from starting. The wires in the steering column to the ignition lock cylinder tend to break. The key and ignition lock cylinder should be replaced to correct this condition.

Pass key fault light on . Car will not start . Tried disconnect battery and bye pass steering colum wit ignition switch.
The car will not start. We drive it from point A to point B and turn it off and it will not restart. We have taken it back to be repaired 3 times and they say they replaced the cylender in the steering column but we are still having the same problem.
Pass Key fault. Can't find any anti theft device to replace for my 93 fleetwood. Engine in excellent condition so is inside. Outside minor things.
