What is your question?
I OWN A 89 TOYOTA CRESSIDA WITH OVER 200,000 MILES ON HER,I'VE HAD THE USUAL PROBLEMS THAT COMES ALONG WITH A CAR WITH THIS TYPE OF AGE BUT NONE OF THE MAJOR STUFF [MAY BE ON THE WAY]LIKE HEADGASKETS,RECENTLY WHILE DRIVING, MY LOWER RADIATOR HOSE, THAT COMES FROM THE ENGINE,IN BETWEEN THE WATER PUMP AND SLIGHTLY BETWEEN THE DISTRIBUTOR, BURST,I DID'NT PAY ATTENTION TO THE EXTRA WATER ON THE GROUND WHEN FILLING THE RADIATOR UP JUST THOUGHT SHE WAS RUNNING DRY,DICIDED TO CHECK IT IN THE MORNING,IN THE MORNING WATER GONE AGAIN SO I FOUND THE HOSE AND WENT TO WORK,NOW I HAD TO GET TO THE AND IN THE PROCESS HAD TO REMOVE A COUPLE OF THINGS,I FELT THAT IT WOULD BE BEST IF I TOOK OUT THE DISTRIBUTOR FROM THE ENGINE BLOCK,ONCE I PULLED IT OUT I SEEN THAT I DID'NT KNOW A THING ABOUT THE LITTLE SPROCKET THAT I SEEN SO I DECIDED TO PUT THAT BACK THINKING THAT NO HARM WAS DONE SINCE I DID'NT REMOVE IT ALL THE WAY,NOW AFTER PUTTING THE HOSE ON AND PUTTING EVERYTHING BACK I WENT TO START THE CAR,LO AND BEHOLD SHE WOULD'NT TURN OVER,A FEW DAYS LATER AND AFTER GETTING SO GOOD INFO I LEARNED ABOUT BRINGING THE NO.1 PISTON TO TDC AND LINING UP THE THE NO.1 ON THE DISTRIBUTOR IS THIS ALL THAT I SHOULD DO AND IF DONE CORRECTLY SHOULD THIS WORK,THANK U DARRYL

Ignition timing is critical and you made a beginner mistake, pulling out the distributor without maintaining time. You have to time the distributor on #1 firing, which is every 2 revolutions, so you may have the distributor in 180 degrees off, more or less, since the engine won't run. The ignition timing must be set with a timing light to the correct mark, once you get it in the ballpark. This is very important to get right so find an experienced friend with a timing light or find a Toyota specialist to set it for you. If you want to find a specialist, here's a directory link for you: https://repairpal.com/toyota-repair-in-washington-district-of-columbia
