What is your question?
My 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee stalls out when I stop at red lights or stop signs. It usually does it when it's cold out, and the engine hasn't warmed up. After driving for about 5-10 minutes, once the engine warms up, it doesn't do it and drives/stops perfect. When it does do it, It will shake a little, then sounds like it just cuts off. If I press the gas, nothing happens. Everything else is still on like the radio and AC. I have to put it in park, take the key out, then restart it and it will drive. It doesn't do it while I'm driving, only when I come to a complete stop. I took it to a mechanic, who replaced the engine computer. It cleared all the codes and I haven't had a check engine light since then, but it is still stalling out the same as before.
What makes this problem better or worse?
It does it when it's cold out, before the engine warms up. It will do it 2-3 times in the 5-10 minutes before the engine warms up. On warm days, it might do it once.
How long has your 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee had this problem?
A few weeks, I only recently bought the car.

Hello, often times stalling can occur due to fuel and air mixture ratios not being appropriate. This is totally a guess and requires hands on inspection and diagnostic testing. If your engine is getting too much air into the intake when still cold, for example, the engine will stall from too much air. This is very simplified, but really hands on testing is required to see what is going on. The fact you took it to a mechanic who "replaced the engine's computer" is mind boggling. Most vehicle concerns are not fixed by "replacing a computer" yet so many people do it, at great expense. Find a qualified technician near you who can properly diagnose and fix your vehicle.
