My 2000 Lincoln Townecar was fine, got home from work & parked it as norm, next morn I came to go to work, and rear end was sagging like it had been adjusted to look like a low rider type car, back eand was drooped down, when I started it up it has a humming noise, I slowly went around the block and the rear end started to rise again, not nearly where like normal, but each day has gotten lower, could this be the rear air bags

The air suspension system has a fault. A diagnosis must be performed to find out what has caused this problem. I would suspect more of a compressor drier leak than necessarily air spring leakage, but testing the system will determine what needs to be done and at what cost. Good luck.
