Auto parts store sold me the coolant sensor for my 2012 Cadillac and said it was an easy fix, only problem i can not find it on the engine, any suggestions

Parts stores do not have the proper testing equipment to tell you which part is bad/not working on your vehicle,they sell parts and that's it,and have NO clue what is wrong with your vehicle,although some of em can install wiper blades and some batteries.
