As i was driving my silverado went into neutral now from a dead stop when i try to go it slips pretty bad. Was this issue ever a recall to reprogram transfer case or transmission?

Truck slipped into neutral while I was driving, it stayed like it was in neutral no matter what gear I put selector in. Once it cooled off it now goes into gear, but you have to Rev engine a little then it grabs pretty hard then goes.

What makes this problem better or worse?

It's worse when engine gets warm.

How long has your 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 had this problem?

2 days,but it has always shifted really ruff when cold just into 2nd gear.
