Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! Flat tires can be very deflating. That's right, I said it. Run-flat tires can be a convenient option for vehicles like the X2. Some Bimmers even come with them standard. However, they generally cost more than conventional tires and may provide a firmer ride. I've noticed they can be quite loud at times. Technically, run-flat tires aren't recommended to be repaired, they can offer peace of mind by reducing the need for immediate tire changes and roadside assistance. Consider your driving preferences and priorities when deciding whether run-flat tires are right for your vehicle. If you have any other questions feel free to call us at 877-913-1554!
