when i start my 2006 "police interceptor" crown vic, the airbag light flashes 5 times and then 2 times followed by 5 beeps 5 times in a row. then the light stays on for about a half hour of run time until it repeats the flashes and beeps. this sequence happens everytime i start it. how can i fix this?

This means that you have an Air Bag code and a problem with the system. You have to have a an Air Bag or SRS capable tool to scan the code and then determine if it is a serious problem or not. This is a job for a shop with the proper scanning tools and expertise. Messing with an Air Bag can literally blow up in your face and cause injury or even death ( breaks your neck). Happens to EMT people all over the country.
