Does this thing really have a stop light switch hot wire crossed to an a/c compressor hot wire? That would be strange. Hope someone else on here has some suggestions. Any recent in dash work?

Does this thing really have a stop light switch hot wire crossed to an a/c compressor hot wire? That would be strange. Hope someone else on here has some suggestions. Any recent in dash work?
