What is your question?
1999 Miata - AC run year round to ensure oil is circulated. On a day when it was hot, 100+, AC, after five minutes was putting out air that was hotter than ambient temp. Checked AC yesterday. Morning temperature was ~70 degrees. Discharge air was ~86 degrees. Note: The reason the vent air is always warmer than ambient temperature is that the seal on the "air box" is a problem. It was replaced twice under warranty. Mazda did not create a "fix" or new seal design. Normally, the vent AC temp has been ~35-40 degrees lower. Checked the freon PZ. Zero RPM, lowside is okay, high side low. Started engine, warmed up @~1500 RPM. Temp ~90 degrees. Low side mid-range of spec; high side very low. TS indicates oil is low. If no change, compressor is bad. If correct, I know the system will have to be evacuated and repaired. If compressor is bad, I assume the Dryer is normally changed, all connection fitting O-rings changed to ensure no leaks, vacuum pulled, new oil added, and R-134 added.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Vehicle Year 1999, AC vent temp warmer the longer it is run
How long has your 2006 Mazda MX-5 Miata had this problem?
not sure
