My heat/ac will work, then it will stop working for a few days or weeks, then suddenly you turn the switch and it will come back on for a few days or weeks, then the cycle repeats. When this happens nothing on the dash will light up or work. The rear defroster button will not function, the ac button will not function, the fan switch will not function. Nothing works related to this area.
the blower on my AC works intermittently it won't work at all and then when I'm driving it'll come on and then it shuts off again.
My second time in one year my hvac isnit working. No heat at the worst time. Why doss this keep happening it hasnt even been two years since ive owned the vechicle
The blower motor stopped working at the lowest speed, then over time the second then third now the fourth speed has stopped working. I'm only left with the highest speed on the control switch that works. the repair was replacement faulty blower motor resistor block.
rolled down my windows to smoke a cigarette, turned of the air conditioning after done turned back on and not a single speed for blowers were working
my ac switch # 2 is not working....1-3-4-5-working.
im a grandma...what u recomend i should do?
is a malibu 2002. thanks...rose
Air no longer comes out of vents unless at high speed with window cracked. Makes noise when turned on. But nothing comes out unless I'm moving.
Heater motor does not blow any air. Temperature adjustments all work ,just no air to push the heat or ac.
My 2010 Malibu's AC quits working the same time my temperature gauge is buried at lowest level. Sometimes the AC will come back on soon afterwards, or it will take days. I have noticed that if I shut the AC off before I shut the car off, then I normally do not have this problem. The issue is to remember that. When I do forget, I also found that if I turn the defrost setting on and the AC off, I have a quicker recover time for AC to start functioning again. I know this happened when my temperature gauge moves from lowest setting to the actual engine temperature.
What on earth is going on? Me thinks I'll give up on GM soon?
Same issues with 4 and 5 only working when the switch decides to operate correctly. AC turns itself off and on. GM has replaced the switch 3 times 1 or 2 times was under warranty. Now the blower is going out.
Air conditioner is on, cold air is fine, fan speed on High, not blowing thou, I can feel cold air coming out the vents real slow speed.
