ABS light comes on after a few minutes and wont go off till the truck shuts off. I have checked the ohm resistance and it is fine, and replaced the sensors but the light keeps coming on.
ABS light comes on. Replaced the leaky hydroboast. Bleed brakes system. Front disc brakes will not alwayas release. Checked sensors and they seem to be fine. Ran diagnostics and no codes.
Intermittent anti-lock brake light. Light comes on and off. Comes on above 15mph and goes out when braking and speed drops below 10 mph. Them may come on again above 15-20 mph. Sometimes stays off while driving for 1/2 hour or so.
Antilock brakes comes on reguler when car is running but when I cut the car off and turn it back on the antilock light goes out and sometimes I will get a shaking in my brake peddle what can I do to correct this problem it has 214000 miles
This problem was a pain in the butt. The sensors failed, and braking became totally erratic below 10 mph. The fact that both the sensor and wheel bearing had to be replaced baffles me. I am not sure I was not taken by the dealer on this issue.
When traveling at low speeds, the ABS will engage. Our mechanic put in a new ABS sensor, however that did not fix the problem. We are still troubleshooting the issue. Sounds like there are lots of problems with various Chevy models around this time.
The ABS light would sometimes come on while driving. It would often stay off if the vehicle was stopped and restarted. Now (around 209k miles) the lights come on and stay on. Haven't fixed yet.
