What is your question?
Car overheated after oil change, dealer said a completely new Fan system and air duct is required. Said they found broken air duct after starting on the fan repair. This type of costly repair is routinely needed after oil changes. My car is fantastic until I take it in for oil changes. Sometimes it takes 2 to 3 costly visits to correct the initial diagnosis and they never admit errors. Would like criminal investigation into the dealership. I want to report the dealership because the car is great otherwise.

Do you know what they mean by "air ducts"? The fan may have stopped working, causing the car to overheat. Just not sure what they are talking about regarding air ducts that would cool the engine. Sorry you are having bad luck with dealer. Why not try an independent shop?
Thank you for your response. No, I do not know what they mean by air ducts (that is the reason they can get by with doing this kind of thing). I did not want to try an independent until the investigation is completed. I would not want the dealer to claim that another shop caused any of the problems. There is a clear time line with this dealer. Also checked out the normal costs associated with repairs and the dealership is charging twice the maximum amount suggested. Relatively new owner of dealership may be as bad as previous owner who drew media attention for ethical issues. I think this is beyond unethical, I believe it is criminal activity. Huge annual bonuses paid to Service staff for dollars brought into a dealership encourage criminal activity. As part of a recovery program, an auto repairman visited my mother to apologize for cheating her over the years. The apology was accepted but, her money was still lost. It is a great car, wish it would have been handled differently.
