cars battery dies on occasion. Jump it it's fine. Diagnostics ok. Could it be my old key fob. Car doesn't die when we use the new fob. Is this related?

If you know for sure this only happens with one key fob then it's possible that is faulty and is keeping a control module awake in the vehicle and draining the battery. If the car is still under warranty this should be covered. Alex
