2012 chevy 3500 hd and the service trailer brake light is on in the dash
What is your question?
service trailer brake light is on in the dash while there is no trailer connected? Tried fuses under hood and in cab, checked wiring at the back no power to the electeric brakes even when you force load it, and turned off trailer tow light on shifter and the service brake light is still on.

More than likely a software update. The factory trailer brake systems have been a headache since the feature rolled out on this body style truck. Several bulletins have been released, which if still under warranty, should be fixed for free.
