2008 Suzuki Grand Vitara V-6 starting sluggishly and idling rough. Drop into gear and engine stalls out. New battery didn’t fix it.
What is your question?
Been running well but recently encountering some slow starts when turning key over. Had a new battery around and put it in. No change.
Does start but idles rough. Exhaust seems quite noisier too. Know I’ve got some work to do there as well - pipes got some rust issues. But Could cat converter cause the sluggish start issue?
Initially I’m thinking fuel pump is going. Engine idling rough and when drop shifter into any gear the engine wants to stall. It will stall unless with brake I throttle it a little.
