What is your question?
Car started couple weeks ago not starting. The last time I had to have it jumped off and then I had check VSC and CEL lights appear. Took car to lexus and told I need new alternator. Do they have a warranty? I had the same thing happen 2 yrs ago.

if you took it to the Toyota/Lexus Dealer last time and had them replace the alternator, when they printed you a receipt, does it say anything about a warranty on the receipt? if not,you can buy a brand new one with a Lifetime Warranty for less than $200.00 and install yourself.Alternators should last a lot longer than 2 years, unless the dealer didn't have one in stock and had one ordered and delivered from Autozone! https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/lexus,2008,is350,3.5l+v6,1441478,electrical,alternator+/+generator,2412
Warranties are based on the specific source of the part. Consult your receipt or the place you purchased the first one. Depending on the quality of the part, a repeat failure is possible. However, wiring and wire connector concerns can be at issue as well; assuming Lexus checked this.
