It was running ok, we stopped at the store and try to turn back on and never turn on we think it was the fuel pump because the truck was try to turn on but it was like no gas but basically it's full so we towed home buy a new fuel pump but doing the same thing, you can hear like the electric going to fuel pump but like in second stop. Then we try to turn it on but no turn please help!!
How long has your 2000 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 had this problem?

Hello, no point in replacing the fuel pump if you've not properly tested for fuel pressure at the fuel rail. If pressure is present at the proper specification, why replace the pump? Engines need fuel delivery at the proper pressure, ignition spark, proper amounts of air coming into the engine, exhaust flow, engine compression and proper engine timing. Testing is required.
