What is your question?
I have 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 5.2 with the 44RE and QuadraTrac system and whenever I get past 80% throttle it seems like it doesn't want to downshift or it bounces off 3000 rpm and dosen't go any further (Like theres some sort of rev limiter when the gas is mashed to the floor) It does it in 1st and only when it downshifts from a higher gear but then it'll haul fine as soon as it shifts back into a higher gear. It never did this before it sat for a couple weeks. The trans fluid is factory ATF+4 and doesn't seems burnt or discolored. The best way to explain it is Throttle 80-100%, gets up to shifting point, Revs stop and bounce off 3000-3200 RPM, up shifts then hauls like it's running off steroids. At any speed or RPM it'll drop right back to the 3000 RPM range and do the same thing until the throttle is depressed and it shift back into the higher gear. Kickdown linkage has been adjusted in both directions but no effect. Theres also no slipping or other hestitation. Any ideas?
What makes this problem better or worse?
Throttle is at 75-100%
How long has your 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee had this problem?
A Week

Hello, without hands on testing it is hard to say. One thing that would be greatly helpful is monitoring shift solenoid positions and commands, throttle position as recorded by the pedal and throttle body and processor, vehicle speed information - and watching everything working together when the problem occurs. This is done with a diagnostic tool with real time monitoring capability. You could even have something like an exhaust restriction preventing proper acceleration performance. It's all totally guesswork until hands on testing can be done.
