i have a 94 ford ranger i have replaced the tps sensor and the truck still boggs down and has no get up go and will not hold speed going up hill and the end of the tailpipe is blackend what could be giving me this trouble
Manual trans, same issue. Not as bad in cooler and less humid weather. Removed weatherstrip on top of firewall to help airflow. I feel my leaking exhaust manifold is causing high under hood temps, somehow contributing to the problem.
1994 Ford Ranger- 4.0
it seems to bog down when u press on the accelerator if u go slow i mean real slow it does ok also seems to bog down when it reaches 3k rpm like its starving for fuel or getting too much
new crank sensor. New iac ,
Runnabillity issues with 91 ranger. Bucking and misfiring, clutch is strong. Much worse with lower grade fuel. Believe it to be a fuel issue, was told checking things like air flow sensor, egr valves, and cap and rotor is good place to start, throttle body de sludge was recommend recommended as injectors get gummed up quickly on this model
Truck is sluggish when under a loud.. Switching threw 1 Thur 3 its just sluggish once I switch into 4th or 5th gear it like its misfiring really bag or starving for gas.. If I don't push down on gas pedal it won't shake no lost of power when that starts
Mass Airflow code. Mass Airflow replaced (2). Coil Pack replaced. FUel Pump replaced. Check enginne light still on and code still says mass airflow problem. Missing, stumbling at low power - no torque.
