1995 Mazda MX-6 Problems

If the engine cranks but will not start, it may be due a failed distributor. In the diagnosis, it may be discovered that the Electronic Engine Control (EEC) Unit is the cause if ignition spark is restored after disconnecting the Spark Output (SPOUT) Connector.

A knocking sound heard from the front or rear suspension while driving over rough roads may be caused by the sway bar linkages. The linkages should be inspected for tightness and condition; there are redesigned linkages if replacement is necessary.

Misfires under load (acceleration) can be caused by leaky spark plug boots. When a spark plug boot leaks, it allows the spark to arc, or jump, to the cylinder head. New spark plug wires will be needed.

i changed the timing belt and the water pump..

had new distributor and noticed it was arcing fire out from where the cap seals to the distributor, tryed new cap and it still done it , so i bought a whole new distributor and new cap and rotor and tryed it and it works fine until the engine gets warm and then it does it again....HELP.......thanks
