One or more heater & AC (HVAC) temperature and/or air delivery mode door actuator may fail, resulting in improper temperature or air delivery. If this occurs, fault code(s) should be stored in the HVAC control module which should assist in diagnoses.

Steering Wheel Position Sensor May Fail

The steering wheel position sensor may fail, resulting in the service stability message being displayed.

Coolant Leaks From Water Pump and Radiator

The water pump and/or the plastic side tanks on the radiator may leak causing a loss of coolant. The engine may overheat due to coolant loss. Continued coolant loss after external leaks have been repaired could indicate a blown head gasket.

My AC works great & sometimes it doesn't work at all, smoke thru vent once? (1 answer)

Smoke & burned rubber smell occured once but AC worked great the next day without the smoke or burnt smell, & car won't start now. Battery says 11.1 battery ok, just makes a click, click,click sound. Please help

My mom has a 2001 DeVille and she has had ac problems since it hit about 50,000 miles. Other than that it is a very good car ours has 153,000 on it.
I bought my 2004 dts in the fall of 2011 for $9.000, it had 99, 572 miles on it, the interior is in mint cond the exterior is in excellent cond & has been garage kept since. This is may of 2013 & the car now has 104, 378 miles on it, I rarely drive it cause of a disability & my mom drives me everywhere I need to go in her bmw x5. Point I'm trying to make is I run it around the block every 3 day...
This is my third Cadillac and it will not be my last. Overall, the car has been very reliable and I still get compliments on it. I love the tight feel of the sport suspension (it does not have the tradionally soft and woosy ride of a Cadillac).
