Windshield Washer Inop Due to Front Bumper Impact on Honda CR-V

Problem Description and Possible Solution

Impact to the front bumper can cause the connector on the washer pump to come off and the windshield washers will not work. Depending upon the severity of the impact it could damage the washer motor and bottle.

Small impact to front RHS bumper resulted in windscreen washers not working - first thought it was the radiator. From previous reports looks like a new washer motor. It was a very slight impact.
I was first told I must have hit something and broke it, which I did not. Dealer replaced windshield washer mech. free of charge, since still under warranty.
Parking lot hit and run small front end collision caused pump to break. Pump and lower bumper cover will have to be replaced.
Small scratch on a right side of the fromt bumber caused windshield pump to be broken. Honda,move pump further from bumper
Honda told me there was some sort of impact to the front bumper(there was a scratch on the front bumper)that may have pushed the bumper back and broke the motor to the pump.
Baseball sized rock thrown up by car in front of me. Impacted below bumper. Snapped off intake nozzles on the bottom of the washer pump.
Slight bump on right front bumper and like magic the washer pump no longer works. It is connected but pump doesn't work. Not fixed yet because I am so aggravated about it.
