Problem Description and Possible Solution

A burning smell may develop due to an oil leak form one or both valve cover gaskets. Resealing the valve cover will generally correct this concern. However, the valve covers should be inspected and replaced if damaged.

Burning smell and a oily substance on passenger front left side. Unsure where this oil is coming form.
When i turn on my heater or sometimes nothing is on i can smell something like oil or something is burning in the car. other problems the emission light has been giving me a problem for the last month. i have had it checked but the problem has not been resolved.
