Toyota Venza Recalls
For vehicles equipped with aftermarket accessory seat heaters, the seat heater elements in the front seats may short circuit if they are damaged by the seat cushion being compressed over time. This could result in a fire hazard.
The seat heater may not work because of a damaged heating element.
The airbags could become disabled or deploy unexpectedly. Loss of power steering assist could also occur.
Southeast Toyota is recalling certain 2010 - 2013 Toyota & Scion vehicles because the vehicle weight information label is incorrect. This recall applies to Toyotas sold in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, North & South Carolina.
Vehicles that had added on seat accessories such as seat cover installation, seat heaters or headrest DVD systems may not have had proper calibration procedures performed to properly operate the occupant sensing system of the passenger seat. This may result in the passenger front air bag being inadvertently deactivated, increasing risk of injury in an accident.
The brake light switch may fail, which can cause the brake light to stop functioning. Inoperative brake lights will increase the risk of a crash.
50 vehicles are being recalled because the right front drive axle may fail. If the axle fails the vehicle will loose power, increasing the risk of a crash.
The load carrying capacity modification label may be missing.
