Buy a $145,xxx car to have stupid issues like this come up.
Starts, but just won't shift. The dash reads visit service center without changing gears
Gears will not shift periodically. Replaced Transmission conductor plate. cCost $1500.00
car stranded on Park position, the problem started 2 weeks ago when can won't shift from R to D till you shot the engin off and let it reset, similar issue happened to my 2007 S550, dealer still working on it for a week w/o answers...
